Friday, February 14 + BAY SQUARE PICTURES

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope you all have a wonderful break! Mrs. Jag will be in London, and Mrs. Conley will be at Cross Insurance Arena watching her daughter play basketball. :)

We have begun our exploration to colonization unit this week.  In the library we used the Inquiry Process for brainstorming our new topic: European Explorers Changed The World. On the dry erase desks, a recorder from each group wrote down questions about this statement such as  - How did European explorers change the world? We will update you with more information about this unit after break.

Our visit to Bay Square this afternoon was magical.  The students typed up one of their poems that we have worked on and we created Valentine's Day cards. Our friends had treats for us as well.  We were able to meet Maisy, the dog.  The children were just spectacular.  Mrs. Jag and I are so proud of the way they jumped right in and made their senior friends feel so special. We also had time for a few math puzzles together.
