Hi All,
We are very excited to meet your children and to work with you this year.
We have sent a snail mail letter to your child today introducing ourselves and some
information about their fifth grade year.

We would like to invite you and your child to our "Meet and Greet" on Thursday, August 29
from 9:30 to 10:30 am. We know this time doesn't always afford an opportunity for you to
share information about your child with us. If you would like to share anything with us, please
feel free to send us an email. We are eager to get to know your child.

The first day of school is a little fast paced and we have found it very helpful if our students
know how they are getting home from school. This is often the most stressful part of the day for
our kiddos. Please double check to make sure your child knows what bus they should get on to
get home. Feel free to jot this information down on a note for your child to share with us. We can
avoid many tears if your child is confident about their way home on that first day of school.
